Position: English Primary Teacher
Location: Sekolah Global Indo-Asia (SGIA), Batam
Employment Status: Full-time

Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in English Education, English Language, English Literature, Education, or a related field.

Requirements:
- Native English speaker preferred.
- Experience teaching English to primary-aged students.
- Experience with the IB PYP or another inquiry-based/international curriculum is an advantage.
- IB PYP workshops or training are an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of English language and literacy development.
- Able to plan and implement engaging, student-centred, inquiry-based learning experiences.
- Able to adapt teaching strategies to meet different learning needs and abilities.
- Approachable and able to communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and the wider school community.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Able to use technology to support teaching and learning.
- Able to assess, document, and report on students’ learning and progress.
- Creative, energetic, and enjoys working with children.
