“Mathastic!”
SGIA Numeracy Week 2019
Last October 7-11 was devoted to observing the Numeracy Week. Each day was assigned to a specific Math strand. The strands are Numbers, Shape and Space, Measurement, Pattern and Function, and Data Handling. Games and interactive activities that have their practical application were exhibited throughout the week for both ECC and Elementary Department.
Appreciating how mathematical concepts are used in the students’ everyday life and strengthening their skills on how they would apply their understanding into practice.
This yearly celebration aims to widen the appreciation and understanding of the students how Maths influence our daily lives.
