Sekolah Global Indo-Asia (SGIA) recently held a meaningful Communal Iftar, bringing together students, teachers, staff, and members of the school community in a warm celebration of togetherness during the holy month of Ramadan. Guided by the theme “Celebrating Togetherness through Reflection, Respect, and Care,” the event served as a reminder of the values that strengthen our diverse school community.

The gathering began in an atmosphere of reflection as participants learned about the significance of Ramadan—a time for self-discipline, gratitude, compassion, and spiritual growth. Students were encouraged to reflect on the importance of empathy and kindness toward others, values that resonate strongly with SGIA’s commitment to nurturing globally minded and caring individuals.

As the sun set, the community shared the special moment of breaking the fast together. The communal iftar provided an opportunity for students from different cultural and religious backgrounds to experience and appreciate this important tradition.
