K2 Learners Explore Batam Zoo Paradise!

On 4 November 2026, our K2 learners enjoyed an exciting field trip to Batam Zoo Paradise! πΎπΏβ
As part of their inquiry into the central idea, "Living things use senses to discover their world and surroundings," the children had the opportunity to explore different animals and learn more about the world around them.
During the visit, they used their senses to observe animals closely, listen to different sounds, notice colours, shapes, sizes, and movements, and explore the animals' surroundings. These real-life experiences helped them understand how our senses give us information about the world and help us learn about living things.
The children also began making connections between what they had learned in the classroom and what they observed during the trip. By asking questions, sharing observations, and comparing different animals, they developed their curiosity and understanding of the natural world.
More than just a fun outing, the visit was a meaningful learning experience that encouraged our young learners to observe, explore, ask questions, and discover new things.
